Take a short break from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul and explore the Turkish countryside. Your local driver will pick you up from your accommodation at a desired time and you will set out for a pleasant trip in a comfortable, private vehicle.

When on the road, your Welcomer will also serve as your local guide who will share the historical facts, the necessary information about the sights and, of course, his personal input in order to immerse you into the Turkish lifestyle. Add or remove stops from the suggested itinerary and customize the ride according to your preferences. Take pictures, ask your driver about hidden gems or recommendations about local delights and where to taste them.

This trip is all about getting in touch with nature so your driver will make sure that you experience the Turkish countryside at its fullest. If the weather permits it you will have the chance to visit Ormanya Park that offers a breath of fresh air to its visitors who can enjoy long walks, play with animals or even have a picnic. Don’t miss out on taking pictures of the cute Hobbit houses, named after the Lord of the Rings fantasy novel.

Your next stop will be at Maşukiye, a quaint, small village located at the side of Sapanca Lake. Have lunch at one of the local restaurants while you are listening to the gentle sound of running water, the rustling of leaves and the light breeze, making it an extremely relaxing experience.

Another popular attraction for both tourists and locals is Kartepe Ski Resort where there is a range of activities for the whole family. A cable car ride is a must in order to enjoy the snowy scenery. Should you visit the area during a warmer season, you may skip Mount Kartepe and go straight to Sapanca Lake. The landscape is captivating and rewards the traveler with an amazing view. Wander around the lake, drink a cup of tea at one of its docks and why no swim or try a water sport?

At the end of the tour, your friendly Welcomer will drop you off at your accommodation in Istanbul.
